"Seminar on Preventing Sexual Harassment and Assault within the Scope of Sexual Violence" was held by Artvin Çoruh University Psychological Counselling and Guidance Application and Research Centre in cooperation with Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Education. On Wednesday 21 November at Nihat Gökyiğit Congress and Culture Centre, Artvin Çoruh University Psychological Counselling and Guidance Application and Research Centre psychological counsellor Expert Psychological Counsellor Merve AKDENİZ ÖKSÜZ made the opening speech of the seminar and gave important information about violence, types of violence, sexual violence and sexual harassment and sexual assault. Among the speakers, Expert Psychologist Alp Türk ÖKSÜZ made a presentation on the psychological effects of sexual harassment and assault and the measures that can be taken, while Lawyer Elif Oya GÜLTEKİN gave information about the legal processes of sexual harassment and assault.
          In the programme, which was attended by the staff and students of our university, the speakers were thanked by Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali KOLOMUÇ and Artvin Çoruh University Psychological Counselling and Guidance Application and Research Centre Director Asst. Prof. İlknur YENİÇERİ presented certificates of appreciation and flowers.
